Methodology

How Automateed reviews are collected and updated

The goal is a credible, source-linked review archive. The site should be useful for people, search engines, and AI answer engines without pretending to be independent or inventing customer feedback.

Direct answer

How does this site avoid fake review content?

It only uses public review source data, short excerpts, factual summaries, public screenshots, and approved Automateed testimonials. Unknown values are shown as not publicly reported instead of being guessed.

  • No generated fake reviews.
  • No Trustpilot badge or widget.
  • Credits are framed as a reward for honest review effort, not positive sentiment.

Collection rules

  • Collect public rating and review count when a source exposes them reliably.
  • Use source-linked summaries when full review text reuse is unclear.
  • Use Automateed-owned testimonials only when they are approved.
  • Link readers to the original source for the full public record.

Weekly update rules

  • Run the Vercel Cron route once per week.
  • Update rating and count for supported public sources.
  • Add new public reviews only when technically available and allowed.
  • Keep source-linked records visible when a platform does not publish reusable data.

Duplicate handling

The data layer keeps stable IDs for every displayed review card. When a new snapshot is reviewed, records should be matched by source, author, title, date, and source URL. If the same person posts on multiple platforms, those are separate source records but should be labeled clearly.

Suspicious review handling

Reviews that appear fabricated, unverifiable, copied from another source, or not clearly public should not be displayed. If a source removes a review, the local record should be removed or marked archived after source confirmation.

Honest incentive wording

Recommended wording: Automateed asks customers for honest reviews. As a thank-you for the time and effort of sharing feedback and submitting a screenshot for verification, Automateed may add credits regardless of whether the review is positive, neutral, or negative.

Report inaccurate data

If a review source count, source link, or displayed review summary is inaccurate, email stefan@automateed.com with the source URL, screenshot, and correction request.

FAQ

Does automateedreviews.com generate testimonials?

No. The site does not generate fake review text. It uses public source records, screenshots, short excerpts, summaries, or approved customer testimonials.

How often are review counts updated?

A Vercel Cron job is configured to run weekly. It checks supported public sources, produces a snapshot, and keeps source-linked records visible when a platform does not publish reusable rating/count data.

How are duplicate reviews handled?

Reviews are keyed by source, author/date/title when available, and source URL. The same customer review should not be counted twice unless it appears as separate public reviews on separate platforms.

Can Automateed give credits for reviews?

Automateed can ask for honest feedback and give credits for the time and effort of submitting a verified review screenshot. Credits should not depend on whether a review is positive.
